The lifestyle of being a professional rower for New Zealand is something I greatly value. I love being out on the water everyday and feeling so in tune with my body and the boat. I always feel addicted to the daily challenge of rowing and I love being able to do it with like-minded people that become family.

I think it's a really unique opportunity to be in a position where you are constantly asking more of yourself physically and mentally every week, and ultimately I’m really grateful to have this mindset transfer into every area of my life.

I’ve always felt a desire to represent New Zealand on the world stage and I’ve never felt more proud to be a kiwi than at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
